2008/2009 EnviroBus Buck Applications Now Being Accepted

EBB Grant Application Teachers! Don’t miss the opportunity to apply for a “FREE” field trip!

The EnviroBus Buck Transportation Grant Program is open for applications, offering over 20 pre-approved host sites. The deadline is fast approaching (October 31, 2008).
Last year MEEC awarded thirty fieldtrips to High Desert schools. This year MEEC will fund even more! - Don’t delay, Apply Today!

The EnviroBus Buck Field Trip Grant Program is a transportation grant that will cover the costs associated with school bus transportation for excursions, offering students the opportunity to learn about environmental education using a hands-on approach during visits to sites which promote environmental stewardship.

New this year: MEEC “Dream Sites”
Grant approval to MEEC-recommended host sites will be given first priority. However, “Dream Sites” applications will be accepted and considered after all eligible applications to MEEC-selected host sites have been granted. Dream Sites are any environmentally-relevant location of the teacher’s choice not listed as a MEEC-recommended host site, that can be correlated to help meet state standards.
