CASSP California Archaeological Site Stewardship Program
CASSP is a statewide organization of volunteers who promote the protection of archaeological and historical resources. Volunteers regularly visit assigned sites on public lands and report changes in their conditions to the land management agencies archaeologists.
A training workshop for new CASSP volunteers wil be held at the Barstow BLM Field Office on October 11-12, 2008, at the Desert Discovery Center at 831 Barstow Rd, Barstow. Registration costs $25.00
