Air Defenders is a community educational resource on open burning, air quality and respiratory health. This program was designed to create fun and valuable hands-on classroom lessons for students.
Cars, buses, trucks and trains burn fuel. This fuel comes from fossil fuel that is found deep beneath the earth. There are alternative ways for our transportation. Learn what scientists are developing.
The air we breathe has been impacted more and more. We must balance the needs of the people to the needs of the earth. Students are required to report information on how families and the environment contributes to air pollution.
Air Quality is a multidisciplinary air quality program designed to: increase awareness, identify some sources of, describe effects of, create environmentally aware citizens of air pollution.
Name examples of natural and man-made air pollution, describe some ways people pollute the air, observe and compare air samples, explain how air pollution may affect us in our daily lives.
