Always in the forefront of environmental education, MEEC is leading the High Desert in providing training and resources to our educators in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This fall MEEC will introduce STEM to educators and students through workshops, the MEEC website, and as a primary component during the January 2012 YELC Conference in both Victorville and Antelope Valley

For a third consecutive year, MEEC has been awarded prestigious grant funding from The Boeing Company Charitable Trust. Funding for the 2012 year was in the amount of $30,000 and will provide high quality EE workshops, resources, curriculum, kits and tools for more than 250 teachers throughout the High Desert.
