Week-long Science Content Standards Institute Open
Science Institute brochureScience Institute brochure
This year the Inland Area Science Project has designed a five-day summer program from June 23 to 27, 2008 for fourth and fifth grade teachers. The program will assist teachers in developing their science content knowledge, build a structured approach for teaching science standards and provide methods for addressing the needs of English Learners.
This is a great opportunity to attend a week-long institute that models hands-on methods for teaching the Science Content Standards that are currently being assessed on the 5th grade Science Test in California.
This is a chance to work with colleagues from all over the San Bernardino/Riverside County Area.
University Credit or continuing education hours are available and you receive a $250 stipend.
